Ingredients

  • 3 lb. halibut steaks
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt
  • pepper
  • lemon wedges
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Lightly grease a flat baking dish, preferably one that can be brought to the table.
  3. Place halibut steaks in a single layer in the baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, blend together sour cream, Parmesan cheese, dried dill weed, salt, pepper, and softened butter.
  5. Cover the fish with the sauce.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the fish loses its translucency.
  7. Sprinkle lightly with paprika and serve at once, garnished with lemon wedges.
