Crispy baked potato strips with a spicy kick, coated in Shake 'n Bake and parmesan, perfect as a snack or side for any casual gathering.

Ingredients

  • potato
  • Tabasco sauce
  • parmesan cheese
  • water
  • vegetable oil
  • Shake 'n Bake

Instructions

  1. Mix water with vegetable oil and Tabasco sauce.
  2. Peel 4 Idaho potatoes and cut into 1/2-inch strips or use unthawed frozen French fries.
  3. Toss potatoes with Shake 'n Bake in a bag until evenly coated.
  4. Place 8 to 10 strips at a time in the bag and shake until coated.
  5. Arrange potatoes in a single layer on a cookie sheet lined with foil.
  6. Bake in a 400°F oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or 20 to 25 minutes if using frozen ones.
