Ingredients

  • 6 slices bread, crust removed
  • 6 eggs
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Grease 6 muffin tins.
  3. Remove crust from bread slices and butter one side of each slice.
  4. Push the buttered side down into each muffin cup, so the bread forms a cup shape with corners sticking up.
  5. Break one egg into each bread-lined cup.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until eggs are cooked to your desired doneness.
