- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Grease 6 muffin tins.
- Remove crust from bread slices and butter one side of each slice.
- Push the buttered side down into each muffin cup, so the bread forms a cup shape with corners sticking up.
- Break one egg into each bread-lined cup.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until eggs are cooked to your desired doneness.
