- Heavily butter a shallow casserole dish.
- Layer sliced bananas lengthwise over the butter.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and add a generous amount of butter over the bananas.
- Add a layer of raisins and pecans.
- Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 325°F (160°C) for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Just before serving, pour a little brandy over the casserole.
