Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 1/2 cups apple juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white raisins
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except almonds in a pot.
  2. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer.
  3. Simmer about 20 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
  4. Stir in slivered almonds and serve.
