Ingredients

  • 3 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon margarine

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate chips, unsweetened chocolate, and margarine in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add sweetened condensed milk and mix well.
  3. Using an electric mixer, beat on low for 1 minute, then on high for 1 minute.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for 15 minutes, taking out every 5 minutes to beat by hand.
  5. After 15 minutes, beat on high for 1 minute.
  6. Pour the mixture into a buttered 8-inch square pan.
  7. Refrigerate until set.
  8. Cut into 1/2-inch squares when firm.
