Beans A La Thyme

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. browned hamburger
  • green pepper
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • 1 medium can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • garlic to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large can B&M baked beans

Instructions

  1. Combine all but last ingredient.
  2. Simmer 5 minutes, then add baked beans.
  3. Bake for 45 minutes in 375° oven.
  4. Best assembled day before serving.
