Ingredients

  • 4 bear chops
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • rice
  • garlic powder
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 4 onion slices

Instructions

  1. Trim fat from the bear chops.
  2. Season the chops with salt, pepper, and paprika to taste.
  3. Place the chops in a pot, cover with water, and simmer, covered, over low heat for 30 minutes.
  4. Spread 2 tablespoons of rice over each chop.
  5. Sprinkle each with garlic powder.
  6. Top each chop with slices of tomato, onion, and green pepper.
  7. Add water to reach the top of the meat.
  8. Cover and bake at 325°F (160°C) for 30 minutes or until well done.
