Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 small can evaporated milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • 10 to 12 large marshmallows or 40 miniature marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 package chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, margarine, evaporated milk, salt, and marshmallows in a saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the marshmallows are melted and mixture is smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and chocolate chips until fully melted and glossy.
  4. Allow to cool slightly before spreading over cakes or cupcakes.
