Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven or puffle maker according to its instructions.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, crushed garlic cloves, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and salt.
  3. Separate the eggs, setting the whites aside and beating the yolks into the mixture.
  4. Stir in the Cheddar cheese soup and drained whole kernel corn until well blended.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  6. Gently fold the egg whites into the corn mixture, being careful not to deflate the whites.
  7. Spoon the batter into the puffle maker or muffin tins.
  8. Bake or cook until golden brown and puffed, about 15 minutes.
  9. Serve warm as a savory snack or side dish.
