Ingredients

  • 8 oz. noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (1 lb. 11 oz.) can tomatoes and liquid
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato puree
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped onion

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  2. Brown ground beef and pour off excess grease.
  3. Stir in the tomatoes and liquid, tomato puree, beef bouillon cube, sugar, salt, and chopped onion.
  4. Heat slowly until the bouillon cube is dissolved.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a large mixing bowl before adding noodles.
  6. Stir in the cooked noodles.
  7. Pour the mixture into a greased 8 x 12 x 2-inch baking dish.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 1 hour.
