Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked ground beef
  • 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons onion
  • 2 tablespoons minced parsley
  • 2 teaspoons prepared mustard

Instructions

  1. Combine cooked ground beef, sweetened condensed milk, onion, minced parsley, and prepared mustard; set aside.
  2. Prepare Baking Powder Biscuit Dough according to your preferred recipe.
  3. Roll out the biscuit dough into a rectangle 1/4-inch thick on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the rolled-out biscuit dough.
  5. Starting with the long side, roll up the dough to form a log and pinch the edge to seal.
  6. Do not pinch the ends of the roll.
  7. Place the rolled dough on a baking sheet with the sealed edge down.
  8. Bring the ends of the roll together to form a ring or circle.
  9. Brush the ring lightly with melted butter.
  10. Using a sharp knife, cut the ring into 1-inch wide slices, making cuts almost to the center but not through.
  11. Slightly pull and twist each section so that the sides rest almost flat on the baking sheet.
  12. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
  13. Serve warm with brown gravy.
