Ingredients

  • 3 lb. short ribs
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 2 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 2/3 c. tomato paste

Instructions

  1. Brown the short ribs in oil in a Dutch oven.
  2. In a bowl, combine chopped parsley, pressed garlic, bay leaf, thyme, salt, beef bouillon cube, and 2 1/2 cups boiling water.
  3. Pour the mixture over the ribs and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
