Ingredients

  • 1 box stuffing mix
  • 2 lb. round steak
  • 2 c. water
  • 8 Tbsp. butter
  • salt and pepper
  • chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Make stuffing according to directions on the box.
  2. Cut steak into thin pieces, about 4 1/2 x 2 inches; score the meat.
  3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread some stuffing on each piece of meat.
  5. Roll up and fasten with a skewer or toothpicks.
  6. Roll in flour and brown in butter.
  7. Add 2 cups water and simmer for 1 1/2 hours until tender.
  8. Remove toothpicks.
  9. Pour gravy over meat and garnish with chopped parsley.
  10. Serve with mashed potatoes.
