Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package lasagna
  • 1 package grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  3. Add spaghetti sauce to the cooked beef.
  4. Pour 1 cup of water into the sauce mixture.
  5. In a bowl, mix grated mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, and eggs.
  6. Pour 1 cup of spaghetti sauce on the bottom of a long cake pan.
  7. Layer the cheese mixture over the sauce layer.
  8. Repeat layering if desired, ending with a layer of sauce on top.
  9. Cover the casserole with foil.
  10. Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven.
  11. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
