Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. beer
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • taco chips

Instructions

  1. Add chopped onion to ground beef in a skillet and brown; drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning mix, water, beer, and tomato paste; simmer until cheese melts and flavors meld.
  3. Serve the hot beef mixture with taco chips, garnished with chopped jalapenos or salsa if desired.
