Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 small bag Fritos or corn chips
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can consomme soup
  • 6 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 can sliced ripe olives

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion together in a skillet until cooked through.
  2. Add the whole kernel corn, consomme soup, tomato sauce, sliced olives, and mix well.
  3. Spread Fritos or corn chips in the bottom of an uncovered casserole dish.
  4. Pour the meat and vegetable mixture over the chips.
  5. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake in an uncovered casserole at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour, until bubbly and heated through.
