Ingredients

  • 2 lb. stew beef
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • noodles or rice

Instructions

  1. Place the stew beef, dry onion soup, cream of mushroom soup, and water into a pot with a tight lid, or into a casserole dish covered with foil and a lid.
  2. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 2 to 3 hours without lifting the lid or foil to ensure proper cooking.
  3. Before serving, stir in the sour cream, then serve the beef mixture over cooked noodles or rice.
