Ingredients

  • 1 large beef fillet, trimmed
  • garlic powder
  • Virginia baked ham, sliced 1/4-inch thick
  • 1 egg
  • dash of milk
  • Pillsbury crescent rolls

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle the beef fillet with garlic powder.
  2. Cook the beef at 325°F for approximately 15 minutes per pound, about 1 1/2 hours.
  3. Once cooked, wrap the beef in aluminum foil and let sit for 30 minutes.
  4. Drape Virginia baked ham sliced 1/4-inch over the rested beef.
  5. Place Pillsbury crescent rolls over the ham.
  6. Whisk the egg and milk together and brush a little on top of the crescent rolls.
  7. Bake in a 350°F oven for approximately 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Slice and serve.
