A hearty casserole combining seasoned ground beef, tender cabbage, creamy mushroom soup, and cheesy layers, perfect for comforting family dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Small head of cabbage, shredded
  • 1 1/2 - 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger with chopped onion and season with salt and pepper; drain excess fat.
  2. Steam the shredded cabbage with the cooked hamburger and then add the cream of mushroom soup.
  3. Flatten half of the crescent rolls in the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.
  4. Spread the hamburger and cabbage mixture over the crescent rolls and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  5. Cover with the remaining crescent rolls.
  6. Bake at 350°F for approximately 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
