Ingredients

  • 2 lb. turkey or chicken
  • 2 cans mixed vegetables
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 qt. water

Instructions

  1. Cut turkey or chicken into small pieces.
  2. Place the meat in a 4-quart saucepan.
  3. Add water, garlic, onion soup mix, salt, and pepper. Cook until the meat is tender.
  4. Drain the mixed vegetables and add them to the cooked meat.
  5. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup.
  6. Cook at 250°F for 15 to 20 minutes and serve over rice or toast.
