Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and cool for 10 minutes, leaving the oven on.
  5. In medium speed, mix sour cream, 3/4 cup sugar, and almond extract until well combined.
  6. Pour the sour cream mixture over the baked cake.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Serve plain or topped with your favorite pie filling.
