Instructions
- Sift dry ingredients: sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and flour.
- Melt in a saucepan: Baker's chocolate, butter, hot water, and vanilla.
- Add eggs and 1/2 cup of the dry mixture to the melted ingredients, then combine all of the ingredients together.
- Pour the batter into two greased 9-inch pans.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 45 minutes.
- Allow the cakes to cool, then frost as desired. Cool Whip works well on this cake.
