Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 loaves bread (dry out overnight)
  • 3/4 c. celery
  • 1 c. onion
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cans chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and fry with celery and onion on low for short time.
  2. Cut bread into small pieces, put in large bowl and add rest of ingredients.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Bake at 325° for 1 hour, covered. Remove cover and bake additional 10 minutes.
