Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • pinch of cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. soda

Instructions

  1. Cook the brown sugar, molasses, butter, and cream of tartar together.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and add soda, stirring into 5 quarts of popped corn.
  4. Spread the mixture on a well-greased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake in a 225°F oven for 40 minutes, stirring frequently.
