Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheese
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • dash salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Drain the fat and set the meat aside.
  3. Blend mayonnaise, milk, eggs, and cornstarch until smooth.
  4. Stir in the cooked meat, grated cheese, chopped onion, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown on top and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
