Ingredients

  • 2 lb. chuck roast
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 small head cabbage
  • 3 medium sweet potatoes
  • 4 medium onions
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Start cooking the chuck roast, tomatoes, cabbage, onions, salt, pepper, and sugar together in a stock pot over medium heat for about 1 hour.
  2. Add the carrots and cook for about 30 minutes.
  3. Add turnips and cook for another 30 minutes.
  4. Add potatoes, season with salt and pepper if needed, and cook until the potatoes are done.
