Ingredients

  • 4 cans red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 3 large onions, diced
  • 3 green peppers, diced
  • 3 lb arm or chuck roast, cubed
  • 3 (16 oz) cans tomatoes
  • 2 cans whole kernel corn
  • 1 container Mexene chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 or 3 bay leaves

Instructions

  1. Brown onion, green pepper, and meat in a little fat.
  2. Add beans, tomatoes, corn, chili powder, salt, and bay leaves.
  3. Add water until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Cover and simmer for about 1 hour, adding water as needed.
