Ingredients

  • 1 cup quick cook oatmeal (but not instant, it turns to mush ... unless you like mush)
  • 1 1/14 cups low fat milk
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup dried chopped figs
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 apple, grated or chopped
  • 2 tablespoons low fat greek yogurt
  • small handful of almonds

Instructions

  1. Night before; mix the oats, dried fruits, sunflower seeds, honey and milk together, then cover and put in the fridge overnight.
  2. next morning: the mixture will have thickened and soaked up the milk. Stir in the yogurt, and the apple, top with a few nuts.
