Ingredients

  • 1 large loaf white bread
  • 8 oz whipped cream cheese
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 sticks (8 oz) sweet butter
  • cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Remove crusts from bread slices and roll them flat with a rolling pin.
  3. Combine whipped cream cheese, egg yolk, and sugar until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto each bread slice.
  5. Roll up each slice in jelly roll fashion and cut in half crosswise.
  6. Dip each roll into melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  7. Place the prepared rolls on a cookie sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
