Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 (3 oz.) black raspberry jello
  • 1 package frozen whole blackberries
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond flavor
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Boil water; mix sugar, salt, and cornstarch and stir into boiling water until thickened.
  2. Stir in black raspberry jello until dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in blackberries, almond flavor, and lemon juice.
  5. Pour into an unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
  6. Bake on the lowest rack at 375°F for 15 minutes.
  7. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F and bake until golden brown.
