Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, margarine, sugar, and baking powder together.
  2. Beat egg yolks, vanilla, and milk together.
  3. Add yolk mixture to the flour mixture and mix well.
  4. Let the dough stand in the refrigerator for one hour.
  5. Roll two-thirds of the chilled dough out and lay on a greased cookie sheet.
  6. Spread 1 1/2 to 2 cans of black raspberry or blackberry filling on top of the dough.
  7. Cut remaining dough into strips and crisscross them over the filling.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.
