- Cream margarine; gradually add sugar, beating well.
- Add the egg and vanilla; beat well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
- Stir in chopped nuts and chocolate morsels.
- Spread batter in a lightly greased 8 x 12 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
- Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Cool and cut into squares (about 1 1/2-inches).
