Ingredients

  • 2 c. fresh sliced peaches
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 drops yellow food coloring
  • 1 pie crust

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, cornstarch, and water in a saucepan and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
  2. Remove from heat and add butter and yellow food coloring, stirring until well blended.
  3. Place sliced peaches in the baked pie crust.
  4. Pour the hot mixture over the peaches.
