- Make a well in the flour, add eggs and beat well with a wire whisk.
- Add sugar and oil and continue beating, gradually incorporating the flour.
- When all the flour is absorbed, knead the dough until well blended.
- Roll out the dough and form into doughnut rings.
- Put the rings into boiling water and boil until they rise to the top.
- Remove the rings one at a time and place on a dish towel to dry.
- Cut slits around the rings.
- Bake on oven grates at 400°F for 10 minutes.
- Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
