Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pinto beans
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/3 cup green pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup diced bacon
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper

Instructions

  1. Cover the pinto beans with water and soak overnight.
  2. Next morning, drain and add all other ingredients to the beans.
  3. Cook until the beans are done but not too soft.
