Ingredients

  • 6 (1 to 1 1/4-inch) T-bone steaks
  • 1/3 cup bourbon
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • fresh ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the steak in a glass or ceramic bowl or Ziploc plastic bag.
  2. Mix the marinade ingredients and pour over the steak.
  3. Marinate, covered and refrigerated, for 2 to 3 hours, turning occasionally.
  4. Remove from refrigerator 20 to 30 minutes before cooking.
  5. Grill the steak over a hot fire until desired doneness, turning and brushing with remaining marinade.
