Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. hot water
  • 1 Tbsp. bourbon

Instructions

  1. Mix together cornstarch and melted butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add brown sugar and hot water to the mixture.
  3. Stir over low heat until the sauce thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in bourbon.
  5. Serve over pound cake, gingerbread, pancakes, or ice cream.
