Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-bran cereal
  • 1/2 to 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup 2% or whole milk
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions

  1. Mix the all-bran cereal, raisins, brown sugar, and milk well and let stand for 1 hour or longer.
  2. Add the flour and baking powder to the mixture.
  3. Pour the batter into a small, greased loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 400°F for 1 hour or less, until done.
  5. Allow to cool, then refrigerate.
