Instructions
- Put bread crumbs in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
- Blend the warm milk, butter, sugar, eggs, salt, cinnamon, and raisins until well combined.
- Pour the mixture over the bread crumbs in the baking dish.
- Place the baking dish in an oblong cake pan filled with 1 inch of warm water.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) until a knife inserted comes out clean, about 40 to 45 minutes.
- Serve warm, optionally with sauce.
