Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 pounds carrots
  • 1 tablespoon minced parsley

Instructions

  1. Place carrots in water in a pressure cooker.
  2. Add salt and cook for 6 to 7 minutes.
  3. Cool the cooker immediately to stop cooking.
  4. Melt butter in a frypan and brown it.
  5. Add bread crumbs and cook until they are brown.
  6. Add lemon juice to the bread crumbs and butter mixture.
  7. Pour the bread crumb mixture over the drained carrots.
  8. Sprinkle with minced parsley before serving.
