Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 c. crumbs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg and milk together.
  2. Combine the crumbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip the fish in the crumb mixture, then in the egg mixture, and again in the crumbs.
  4. Cook the fish, skin side down, in 1/8-inch of shortening.
  5. Brown the fish on one side, then turn and brown on the other side.
  6. Cook for about 10 minutes or until the fish is flaky.
