Ingredients

  • 1 lb. mild sausage
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dried ground mustard
  • 3 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage in a skillet.
  2. Drain well and set aside.
  3. Beat the eggs in a bowl.
  4. Add milk, salt, and dried ground mustard to the eggs and mix well.
  5. Layer bread cubes, cooked sausage, and shredded cheese in a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients.
  7. Refrigerate overnight before baking.
