Ingredients

  • 1 lb. marshmallows
  • 1 cup juice (from 1 lemon and 3 oranges)
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • Graham crackers

Instructions

  1. Place marshmallows and juice in a large saucepan and melt over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  2. Set the mixture in the refrigerator to cool, ensuring it does not become too hard; it should resemble syrup.
  3. Whip the whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold the cooled syrup into the whipped cream gently.
  5. Line a 9 x 12-inch pan with graham crackers and pour the mixture over the crackers.
  6. Sprinkle remaining graham cracker crumbs over the top of the torte.
  7. Refrigerate overnight until firm before serving.
