Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. sausage
  • 12 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 5 slices bread
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard

Instructions

  1. Beat together the eggs and milk; set aside.
  2. Fry the sausage and drain the grease.
  3. Place the cooked sausage in a casserole dish.
  4. Add grated Cheddar cheese and bread crumbs on top of the sausage.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the ingredients in the casserole dish.
  6. Cover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Next day, bake uncovered at 350°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour until cooked through and golden on top.
