Breakfast Bread Pudding

A comforting breakfast bread pudding combining soft bread cubes, creamy cheese, and sweet maple syrup, perfect for a hearty weekend brunch or special morning treat.

Ingredients

  • 12 slices white bread
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
  • 12 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Remove and discard crusts from bread; cut bread into cubes. Toss lightly with cream cheese cubes.
  2. Place in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs.
  4. Add milk, maple syrup, and salt.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Pour over bread mixture.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
