Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 slices white bread
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  2. Beat the eggs in a bowl and add the milk.
  3. Stir in salt and dry mustard into the egg mixture.
  4. Cube the bread and fold into the egg mixture.
  5. Add grated Cheddar cheese and cooked sausage to the mixture.
  6. Pour everything into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until set and golden on top.
