- Spray an 11 x 17-inch pan with Pam.
- Lay saltines in a single layer on the bottom of the pan.
- Melt butter and sugar together.
- Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
- Pour the hot mixture over the saltines.
- Bake in a 400°F oven for 10 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- Remove the pan from the oven and immediately lay chocolate bars on top to melt.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the surface.
- Sprinkle nuts over the top.
- Cool in the refrigerator for a few hours.
- Once cooled, cut into pieces with a pizza cutter or break into pieces like brittle.
