Ingredients

  • 3 to 5 lb. brisket
  • coarse ground pepper
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon catsup
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Press coarse ground pepper into the brisket.
  2. Mix soy sauce, vinegar, paprika, catsup, and minced garlic to create the marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the meat and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Wrap the meat and marinade tightly in heavy foil.
  5. Bake the wrapped brisket in a 350°F oven for 3 hours.
  6. Optionally, sprinkle with fajita seasoning during baking or finish on the grill for additional flavor.
