Ingredients

  • 10 oz. pkg. chopped broccoli
  • 10 oz. pkg. chopped broccoli
  • 1 Tbsp. dried chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1½ cups milk

Instructions

  1. Cook chopped broccoli and dried chopped onion in salted water until tender.
  2. Add undiluted cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup, butter, and milk to the cooked broccoli and onion.
  3. Simmer the mixture for a little while to blend flavors.
  4. Cut Velveeta cheese into chunks and add to the soup, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
